Welcome to Ashton Gatehouse, the original entrance to Ashton Court Estate. Once the gateway to the Smyth family home, the Gatehouse is now open for all to enjoy.
Built in c.1805 and designed by Henry Wood in the regency gothic style, it is a delightful gem, waiting to be discovered.

We’re delighted to be taking part in Heritage Open Days once again! 🎉
Join us at Ashton Gatehouse on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September, from 10am–3pm, and discover more about this fascinating piece of local history.
Come along, explore the Gatehouse and enjoy the opportunity to step inside and experience a little of the heritage that makes our local area so special.
We’re really looking forward to being part of this great annual celebration of our local heritage and welcoming visitors to the Gatehouse once again.

Heritage Open Days
Room Hire
We are pleased to be able to open the Gatehouse to the public with a meeting space and office available for hire.
The meeting room is ideal for out of the office meetings/interviews/appraisals, training such as Team Building and First Aid, as well as a lovely space for hobby crafts etc.
The office is ideal as an Ad Hoc work space, in a nice quiet location with onsite parking.
